La Linguistique dans tous les sens

This work, La linguistique dans tous les sens [Linguistics in all its meanings], testifies to the diversity of the research currently being undertaken in linguistics in general and in French linguistics in particular. The articles focus just as much on linguistic structures as a system as on applications of this system in various oral and written texts, using approaches such as discourse analysis, enunciative and contrastive linguistics. "Meanings" are therefore approached from different theoretical and methodological standpoints: some studies have a clearly epistemological aim while others consider language phenomena - lexical, grammatical, rhetorical, stylistic, etc. - in a range of corpora, primarily from literature, media, or political discourses.

La linguistique dans tous les sens is the product of an international conference with the same title organised by the Departments of French, Italian and Classical Languages at Stockholm University in collaboration with the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities (Kungl. Vitterhetsakademien).
